I’d love to hear a real defense of this. Clinton had the worst favorability numbers in history, outside of Donald Trump.

Her campaign also made giant miscalculations by ignoring glaring weaknesses in Michigan and Wisconsin. Black turnout plummeted due to poor outreach in these states. The Clinton decided to run a campaign based on morality and it didn’t work.

I agree with a lot of the points you make in the article. A white man is not a magic bullet to win the election. However, we don’t need to pretend that Hillary Clinton was a good candidate to make that point. We need to run on making lives better with progressive policies. Calling Donald Trump a bad guy isn’t going to win ANY new voters or persuade anyone to come out to vote.
