Donald Trump is a Pathetic Human Being

There is no coming back from failing to condemn white supremacists

Yesterday afternoon marked an important day for the Presidency of Donald J. Trump. It signified the beginning of the end for him. Of all the egregious things he has done in the past, the press conference regarding the Charlottesville chaos takes the cake.

President Trump’s statement reads,

We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence, on many sides. On many sides. It’s been going on for a long time in our country. Not Donald Trump, not Barack Obama. This has been going on for a long, long time.

Many sides.

There are not many sides. White supremacists, white nationalists, neo-nazis — whatever you want to call them, descended on Charlottesville, Virginia to make their voices heard. These evil people want a white ethno-state where the nation only allows white people full freedoms. They despise diversity and equality. They believe the white race is under attack and think there is a “white genocide” taking place.

When you allow these despicable people to gather, there obviously will be counter protests to tell them to leave. White nationalists are not wanted in this country. It was only a matter of time before violence broke out. Early video went viral of a group of white men beating a 20 year-old black man down with weapons. There was fighting and objects thrown back and forth. Then, a young warped individual decided to up the ante.

James Alex Fields Jr. decided to get into his car and commit an act of terror on counter protesters. He drove his car into other parked cars surrounded by hundreds of people injuring nineteen and killing one. Like every other counter protester, Heather Heyer was there to stand up for what’s right. She didn’t make it home that night because a white supremacist took her life.

There was only one side of hate yesterday and our President, Donald Trump decided to implicitly support their cause.

Failing to condemn white supremacists who were marching the streets with confederate and nazi flags is disgusting. Trump purposely failed to mention who was responsible for the attack that took a life. As a matter of a fact, he didn’t even speak about the death or offer his condolences to the family. He blurted out a half-hearted statement about hate and bigotry from many sides. Excuse me, Mr. President?

Why on earth would you not condemn such a hateful group? Is it because they are a big part of your base? Are you worried you will lose votes? Do you also hold the same views as these assholes?

There was one group that loved it. White nationalists went nuts for it on their online hangout, The Daily Stormer. They understood what Trump was doing. Read it below for yourself.

There you have it, folks. The most evil fucking people in this country are praising our President after one of theirs murdered someone. We have reached rock bottom in America. We should all be ashamed of what we become, especially white Americans.

There is no more defending this pathetic excuse of a man, Donald Trump. You simply can’t come back from doing what he did yesterday. How can any respectable politician work with him on anything? How can we look to him for guidance during tough times? Are we supposed to allow our children to even listen to the President speak?

Many of neo-nazis wore “Make America Great Again” hats and spoke of taking their country back. Before the rally yesterday, an excited David Duke proclaimed,

For the people of this country, we are determined to take our country back. We’re going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump. That’s what we believed in, that’s why we voted for Donald Trump. Because he said he’s going to take our country back and that’s what we got to do.

It’s almost like Trump has been speaking directly to them the entire time.
